It features a worldwide unique fir tree and wild life such as wild horses, wild goats and eagles. The mountainous terrain of the islands are suitable for trekking expeditions, climbing, horse riding and other all year around sports. Once voted 10th in a world scenic beauty league for its relaxed, uncrowded, deserted beaches.

 

There are perfumed pine forests, majestic mountains, curvy coastlines, charming fishing villages and excellent wines. They are rich in culture and long history going back 5000 years.
